Estate implementation
An executor is the legal representative appointed by the testator to carry out the provisions of the Will, settle outstanding liabilities, obtain probate where required by law, and distribute assets to the named beneficiaries.
We advise clients on nominating primary and alternate executors, outlining specific administrative authorities, institutional vs individual executors, and the legal responsibilities involved in post-death estate management.
